Pure ambient drone bliss from SunDummy. Hot on the heels of his widely sucessful "Might Voids Collide" released through Dark Duck Records, SunDummy returns with mini-lp of warm ambient drone. Track 5 features a collaboration with Dark Duck Records founder Stephen Philips.

This release is the full-length version of The Center of The Lake. An edited version appeared briefly on the Drone Download Project page on Dark Duck Records http://www.darkduck.net but here now for the first time, we have made available the full-length version of this release. Enjoy.

Environmental ambient meets textured drone, and then you can't discount the filter-effect. Fascinating stuff from a relatively new artist who goes by the name of Chinchilla.

More experimental AM radio manipulation experiments. The material here is mangled in such a way to make it quite droney.

Darcy Odrai's obsession with AM radio has been apparent for quite some time. She has been composing micro "radio symphonies" for use in live performances for the past 3 years and is now starting to make these recordings available to the public. All the music you hear here was created using manipulated AM Radio recordings.

Twisted and mangled vocal samples and strange otherworldly themes predominate here. Experimental drone and strange textures are also present at times. The potato outdoes himself yet again with this strange statement.

Deep minimal textured drone. This piece was created using only a vocal sample recorded by the author. The sample was then chopped, edited, re-sampled and processed to the point of obliteration. It was then re-sampled and re-processed again to create this piece. As you can tell, what you hear is nothing like the original source material.

Originally released in 2000 on Dark Duck Records Alpha Trajectory returns with this recording of slightly Berlin-school experimental space ambient, sequencers, and effects recorded between February and June 1998 then tweaked, twisted and mangled for 2 years, and finally unveiled. Chronicling the voyage of the world's first artificial satellite launched in 1957.

Originally released in 2000 on Dark Duck Records Excelsior returns with their latest album featuring a set of pure space ambience with plenty of smooth passages. This time, Excelsior takes us on a chilling exploration and research voyage to the outer cosmos, very reminiscent of their early spacey ambient sound, but different. This music features ambient with cut up beats and experimental sound, somewhat reminiscent of early Autechre.

As turbulent and as soothing as the ocean surf itself come 2 long-form pieces that excite and relax the mind. This is NOT deep chill material but it is very relaxing and while there are NO ocean or wave sounds on this recording, it still manages to take you to the...
